Sisterhood of the World Bloggers Award
I have been nominated by my friend and sister in Christ, Angela for the Sisterhood of the World Bloggers Award…my very first award…Yay!! Upon receiving the news from Angela, I read the seven things she wrote about herself and they confirmed the reason why “Meeting in the Clouds” is one of the blogs I have bookmarked. Make sure the award appears on the blog – As soon as I figure that puppy out, I will do that. I complete my tasks so that will be done for sure. I don’t want the blog police to ticket me:)
List seven things about me:
1. My favorite movie ever is Urban Cowboy:)
2. I hate goodbyes – I packed up our home and moved cross country without telling my family. I called them when I got my new telephone number. They were mad; then happy. They hate goodbyes too.
3. The song, “What a Wonderful World” makes me sad. It reminds me of my dad. I once walked in on him sitting on his chair by the window looking out and singing it. I can still see him wearing his baseball cap concealing his bald head, having lost his hair during his treatments. I would put on my reddest lipstick and kiss the top of his head and he wouldn’t wipe it off. I miss my daddy 😥
4. I was a cussing machine before I came to Christ. I never had to work at that…I was delivered over night. THAT was a miracle!! 🙂
5. I love to people watch. People fascinate me.
6. The Lord speaks to me through dreams.
7. I love the sound of the ocean, but do not like the beach…that’s a problem!

I love the sound of the ocean and love to watch waves crash in on rocky cliffs etc – but I wouldn’t care if I never saw another beach – so that is another thing we have in common.
I got it!! Thank you for your help..and again, thank you for thinking of me. And the most ironic thing about the beach problem I have, is that my favorite place on the planet is Hawaii. Ha!!
Arlene, I don’t even know what to say to you right now. I am about to cry. You nominated my blog? I am behind on my email and I just saw the nomination from you. Know that God just divinely used you…at “just” the right moment. I broke up with my boyfriend last night…and I’m so broke that I’ve been on the computer looking up information about bankruptcy. Then the email about the nomination. Your love reminds me that I am not alone. Your love reminds me that God is Sovereign and that He is not going to leave me. Your love affirms that the body of Christ is the single most amazing force on earth. I don’t know you…but I sure want to chat with you sometime and hopefully meet you someday. Arlene, you bless me so much. And the beauty of it all is that we “are” sisters in Christ and we absolutely will have the privilege of spending “Eternity” together in Heaven. I don’t know about you, but that makes me absolutely giddy…to he point that I don’t even have the words to express my feelings.
As your sister in Christ, I can honestly say that I love you. You make me feel closer to God. Arlene, He is using you, and your precious heart for others SO powerfully. You have “profoundly” impacted me and touched my heart. You are simply amazing. I think God speaks through other people, and I “know” He speaks to me through you. I think you have a lot of spiritual gifts… You will never know how much your kind words and ESPECIALLY your prayers impact my heart. I feel that you are truly a gift from God.
I am here for you always. I work for a major airline now and have awesome flight privileges so maybe we can meet up sometime. You’re just a true “sister”. Thank you for loving me the way you do. Again, I am without words… I just know that God brought us together. Keep evangelizing and encouraging others. When we loves others from the depths of our heart we have the capacity to absolutely change peoples lives. You are a warrior princess. You rock my world!

Precious Ava…you are without words? You did an absolutely perfect job expressing your heart. There have been several women I’ve come across “in space” who just touch me…it seems like I know them. You’re a scrapper, a fighter, beautifully imperfect but ever striving and you love the Lord with all your heart. You exude it. I love your faith…it strengthens mine and you have a beautiful, FUNNY way with words. Being new to blogging, I would have to say I’m pretty technically challenged myself (we sound like Stevie Wonder and Ray Charles) so I have no idea if we could post privately. It is because of Christ that we are all related and have been adopted into the family of God.
